About The Position
No Cow is looking for a rockstar marketer that can help drive growth of through integrated brand marketing and innovation.
The Marketing Director is a critical leader of our marketing team, responsible for providing short and long term strategic direction for the brand. The right candidate will have a strong track record building and scaling brands in high-growth emerging companies, be able to work in a team environment, and be scrappy in finding ways to drive growth. This is a “leader” AND “doer” position - we are a lean team, so this person needs to be able to wear multiple hats and roll up their sleeves. This person will focus primarily on brand activation and innovation strategy. Specifically, we need someone who can:
· Develop and execute annual marketing plans and brand activation campaigns
· Continuously improve brand positioning, consumer targeting, and messaging
· Lead the development and cross-functional execution of brand innovation strategy, identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities using category research, consumer insights, pricing and margin analysis, etc. and working cross-functionally to bring new products to market from concept to launch
· Partner closely with sales team to execute digital and traditional shopper and customer marketing with our retail partners
· Execute PR programs
· Collaborate with the Head of Ecommerce and Digital Marketing to build digital and social community across platforms, including the buildout of our influencer and ambassador program
· Oversee, manage, monitor, test and optimize campaigns across paid channels (Google, Facebook, and more)
· Manage consumer relations
· Present the brand to diverse audiences and incorporate the perspectives of multiple consumer communities specifically racially, ethnically, and gender diverse communities
· Develop and manage marketing budget and report to the team
· Measure and identify the most effective programs by setting critical KPIs (ROI, velocity growth, awareness, etc.) that can be directly correlated to marketing efforts

What We’re Looking For:
· 5+ years of experience in consumer products marketing leadership roles, ideally with prior roles at BOTH big companies and entrepreneurial/start-up companies
· Key functional expertise across brand management, innovation, shopper marketing, social media, influencer marketing, and PR
· Digitally savvy - needs to know Facebook Advertising, Google Ads, Ibotta, Instacart, Email & Text marketing, etc.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and pivot
· Passion for our mission and can live the brand
