About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY  
The Genever Category Ambassador is responsible for Brand Education and the implementation and execution of brand-building activities in key accounts. The Activator is also responsible for managing relationships/partnerships with key distributor personnel, trade, and consumers within his or her assigned territory. 
 
BRAND EDUCATION
-       Champion the Genever brands in selected accounts

-       Be knowledgeable of history, tasting profiles and key selling points of the brands

-       Execute regular staff training sessions to ensure brand awareness, support, and advocacy.

 
ACCOUNT RELATIONSHIPS AND MANAGEMENT 
-       Execute regular bar spends to gain consumer awareness and trial

-       Build and manage strong partnerships with bartenders in target accounts

-       Develop expertise in the local bar scene to support opportunities for the brand to engage with influential bartenders and gatekeepers

-       Influence permanent and feature drink menu placements in assigned accounts

-       Execute all assigned KPIs.

 

EVENT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT
-       Plan and execute two European Genever festivals per year in assigned market

-       Represent Genever at industry events such as WhiskeyFest

-       Execute community events and partnership events with other local businesses

-       Execute virtual trainings 

-       Provide social media team with regular content

 
PLANNING AND REPORTING 
-       Provide regular and ongoing weekly and monthly reports to Next Level

SUPERVISION 
This position works with minimal day to day supervision and a high degree of accountability for results delivery.  Self-discipline, organization, and independent judgment are required.  
 
HOURS
This is a part-time position, working between 20-25 hours per week
 
SKILLSET REQUIREMENTS  
·       Spirit industry marketing or sales experience with local market account relationships 
·       Detailed oriented with strong interpersonal skills. 
·       Be comfortable with cold calling on accounts to sell in distribution and programming  
·       Ability to understand, manage and responsibly track assigned budgets
·       Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and web-based reporting tools
·       Experience utilizing social media tools such as Facebook and Instagram
·       Clean driving record with ability to provide own transportation to and from accounts
