What we are looking for: M.S. Walker has an immediate opening for a New York Sales Representative for the Hudson Valley region.  If you are driven to succeed, have a passion for wine, an appreciation for the burgeoning craft/artisan spirits market, love for the competitive sport of selling, and seek an opportunity to work alongside some of the most interesting people and producers you’ll ever meet- perhaps this opportunity is right for you.  We are actively seeking an experienced, dynamic, polished sales professional looking to take his or her career to the next level.  
 
Responsibilities:
 
·       Commitment to continuous education- wine, sales and otherwise
·       Follow up skills/structure
·       Territory management
·       Strong work ethic
·       Understanding of online space- both for retail and restaurant purposes
·       Tech Savvy
·       Proficient with Microsoft excel, outlook, word
·       Thrive in a fast-paced environment 
·       Superb written/oral communication skills
·       Positive mental attitude; team player
·       Effective self-management skills, specifically time management 
·       Existing account relationships in Hudson Valley/Westchester
·       Industry References (at least three)
 
 
Who you are: The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities in order to be successful in this role:
 
·       Minimum 3 years’ experience in fine-wine wholesale distribution and/or importing, specifically in Hudson Valley/Westchester
·       Adept relationship-builder
·       Fastidiously organized
·       Goal oriented
·       Superior wine and spirits knowledge- certifications a plus, but not required
