About The Position
M.S. Walker has been an Importer and Distributor of Fine Wines & Spirits since 1933, family-owned and operated for five generations, and known for SERVICE, INTEGRITY, and a WORLD-CLASS dynamic portfolio of top tier producers.

Key Responsibilities:

Our fine wine and craft spirits business is EXPLODING. We have an excellent opportunity, for the right person, who must be in possession of the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in fine-wine wholesale distribution and/or importing, specifically in NYC.
  • Goal oriented
  • Commitment to continuous education- wine, sales and otherwise
  • Excellent organization and follow up
  • Strong work ethic
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Superb written/oral communication skills
  • Positive mental attitude; team player
  • Superior wine and spirits knowledge combined with a commitment to continuous improvement in all facets of our business.
  • Adept relationship-builder
  • Effective self-management skills, specifically time management and territory call planning
  • Existing account relationships in NYC.
  • Industry References (at least three)
Requirements -
Knowledge/Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience+ of wholesale wine and spirits experience required, 5 years' experience preferred
  • Relationship building and selling skills a must
  • In-depth knowledge of fine wine and spirits
  • Ability to walk, sit, stand, reach overhead and lift up to 45lbs
  • Valid driver’s license required
