Mother-In-Law's Kimchi

About Us
Mother-in-Law’s is best known as the category pioneer of the best tasting, premium line of refrigerated kimchi, quickly gaining national distribution and sold in key natural retailers such as Whole Foods, The Fresh Market and Wegmans. It was founded in 2009 by Lauryn Chun with a mission to share an authentic, small batch, hand-crafted kimchi based on the original recipe of her mother’s 25-year old restaurant Mother-in-Law's House in California.

MIL offers the first full line of kimchi to showcase authentic recipes with traditional and vegan flavors. With highest brand recognition among customers, MIL remains at the forefront of the fast-growing fermented food category. Full product line includes shelf-stable Gochujang, Korea's #1 condiment and the first brand of gochujang in the U.S. made without corn syrup or MSG, Liquid Kimchi, Chile Pepper Flakes, and a best-selling cookbook, with additional products on the horizon.

Since its beginning, MIL has received unprecedented press accolades in Esquire, Bon Appétit, Vogue, J. Crew, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Tasting Table, O The Oprah Magazine, WNYC, USA Today, Rachael Ray Magazine, Men’s Health, Buzzfeed, Cap Beauty Daily and more, and has been featured on Zagat, MSNBC and the Cooking Channel's FoodCrafters.
