Mommenpop makes California citrus aperitifs in Napa using fresh, local ingredients. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Someone to help grow both our on-premise and o-premise account base, and (most importantly) support and educate these accounts. Our focus is retail, restaurant, boutique hotel, curated grocery, and cocktail bars. You will support these accounts through tasting events, sta training, cocktail ideation, and pop ups. This role will work directly with our California broker (Revel Wines), and will be a direct representative of our brand. So we want you to love it as much as we do. This is an opportunity to get in at the ground level with a company poised and excited for massive growth. You will be an indispensable team member contributing much to the success and spirit of the company. We are searching for someone passionate, hard-working, but also fun-loving and positive as we feel Mommenpop embodies this spirit and philosophy. 


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Open new on- and off-premise accounts, i.e.boutique retail, restaurants, curated shops, online retailers, cocktail bars, hotels, catering, etc. 
  • Enhance the relationships with key on- and off-premise partners, industry influencers, and distributor sales teams. 
  • Drive new business in the on- and off-premise channels by focusing on increasing points of distribution and visibility ,gaining menu placements, leading staff trainings, and supporting our sales teams. 
  • Host tastings, events, happy hours, and pop-ups at accounts. 
  • Manage merchandising and POS. 
  • Drive sales with category specific trade programming, brand education, and activations. 
  • Be the market expert, identifying leading opportunities to excel brand awareness, build brand loyalty, and create new users. 
  • Plan, organize, manage logistics, and execute on event opportunities with savvy. 
  • Effectively and accurately manage your defined budget, including sampling, event, and account support spends. 
  • Provide market reporting, including weekly pre-plans, monthly sales recaps, wins, trainings, and trade marketing events. 
  • Work with our marketing manager to create content for social media and direct to consumer communications. 

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED: 
  • 3+ years of sales experience 
  • A strong network of contacts in Los Angeles
