We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team.  This will be a unique opportunity to manage, track, analyze and implement all of the initiatives within the department.  From creative to social media, advertising to direct to consumer campaigns, there will be no part of our marketing efforts that this position is not a part of.  Experience with people management and social media is an absolute must to be successful in this role.

We are a family of beverage brands. More specifically, we produce and distribute the healthiest alcoholic beverages on the planet. Our core brands, Pulp Culture and 101 Cider House, are known as market leaders in the ‘better for you’ adult beverage category. All of our beverages are alcoholic, probiotic, and contain zero sugar.

Pulp Culture was launched in 2020, the first brand in a new category of “Hard Pressed Juice.” To put it simply…… it’s just juice, fermented. We blend super fruits, botanical adaptogens, and super mushrooms to create functional fermented beverages. Crafted by Mother Nature, and enjoyed by fun-loving folks who believe in the pursuit of better.

101 Cider House is the original “adults only” juice bar. We source our ingredients along the famed 101 Highway, which connects our Los Angeles cider house to growers up and down the US Pacific Coast. We keep it simple, our juice is spontaneously fermented and aged for 3 months to produce a naturally alcoholic and certified probiotic beverage.

Requirements (the must haves)
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must reside in Los Angeles county as roughly 25% of your time will be spent in our downtown facility (Flexible & subject to change)
  • 1 - 3 years experience in a marketing specific role
  • 1 - 3 years experience in social media marketing with examples of previous campaigns
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience working with content creators and with various types of content
  • Knowledge of and experience with applying marketing fundamentals
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, growing company
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Positive, motivated and passionate with a “can-do” attitude
  • Adaptable to change with an ability to pivot
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A desire to fine-tune and continuously improve processes
  • Ability to organize and manage the departments schedule effectively, meet all deadlines and communicate effectively when there are challenges
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, written, and oral communication skills
  • A passion for the “better for you” food & beverage sales industry
  • Professional, punctual, communicative and adaptive, able to roll with the punches and play it by ear when the situation calls for it

Preferred but not required
  • Beverage industry experience
  • College degree or equivalent work experience

Duties & Responsibilities (a day in the life)
  • Support marketing planning, prioritization and implementation
  • Track & analyze business results and brand health metrics; use analytics to build recommendations and inform decision-making
  • Define action steps to proactively address opportunities and gaps vs. plan
  • Track and share competitive activity and trends, as well as their larger implications
  • Develop success metrics for key marketing programs and activations; track ongoing results and complete post-launch recap and analysis; share findings with management along with recommendations to inform future planning
  • Drive communication and connectivity between marketing and other departments
  • Lead department meetings in an orderly, timely and efficient manner
  • Tracking Google analytics and SEO to then deliver to department and management

Schedule & Compensation
Full time position with a salary based upon experience, typically requiring a Monday to Friday schedule, but often necessitating some work being performed on nights and weekends.
