About The Position
MAD TASTY is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the New York area. This role will be an integral part of our sales team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales.
Regional Sales Manager, New York 

Start Date: Immediate

The Regional Sales Manager, New York will be an integral member of the Sales team, reporting to the Vice President of Sales. This role is responsible for identifying new market opportunities, developing relationships with retail accounts, distributors and developing successful sales strategies to increase profitability. The position includes the management of the District Sales Manager, NY to ensure delivery of volume and financial objectives using a variety of tactics including distributor planning, incentive programming, channel targets and retail activations.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

·         Embrace and promote the MAD TASTY brand and style
·         Develop an in-depth knowledge of the CBD industry trends and products
·         Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that will increase customer loyalty, build distribution growth and increase company profitability 
·         Coordinate with DSM and distributor teams, all chain account activation and execution 
·         Build and maintain strategic partnerships with existing and new retailers and establish strong working relationships with our distributor sales teams
·         Responsible for providing accurate reports in the form of forecasts, budgets and sales plans 
·         Partner with Marketing and Sales team to develop local and national initiatives and product launches 
·         Identify and communicate changes in product category, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends
·         Ensure delivery of all the above through quarterly business reviews and conduct sales meetings with distributor teams to launch new programming,  brand and product training and incentive activities 
·         Responsible for building and leading a sales team 

 SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS 

·         Relevant Bachelor degree or proven sales & development experience (minimum 5 years)
·         In depth knowledge of the beverage and/or consumer product industry 
·         Knowledge of beverage legal structure, promotion requirements and three tier system preferred
·         Demonstrated track record of sales achievement in a hand-on sales environment 
·         Proven ability to motivate, lead and build a sales team 
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
·         Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with retailers and distributors 
·         Excellent at managing time, priorities, and expenses
·          Able to work independently while being a team player 
·         Flexibility to travel as needed
·         Local market residency, no relocation provided
