We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Art Director who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and loves the challenge of discovering what makes consumers "tick" while being on the pulse of culture. You will collaborate with a small and tightknit hands-on creative team to devise on social/digital concepts for our clients. The goal is to translate content strategies and great ideas into innovative and impressive storytelling experiences across the digital omni channel space. Your breakthrough ideas should stimulate targeted audiences in relevant yet unexpected ways, especially staying current in today's world.
To succeed as a Digital Art Director, you must be a champion for digital-first, creative storytelling with excellent communicative and exceptional project/time management skills. You should be a visionary who is willing to push boundaries and can think big picture yet refine ideas into relevant and fresh creative platforms for our clients. You should be skilled in graphic design, animation, and digital forward thinking
Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and consumer mindsets
Generate clear ideas coming out of a concise brief
Present completed ideas to clients/team members
Strong design skills for digital/social with the ability to do animation
The prep of basic mechanical files for production
Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
Ensuring that all aspects of the creative aligns/answers the client brief
Stay on top of all cultural trends and maintaining best practice
Working with other members of the creative department to evaluate client or company needs, develop project strategies and strong creative for our clients
Work with cross functioning teams, especially now whilst most of the team is working from home; Coordinating resources with other departments to create a cohesive and effective work stream
Looking for ways to improve design department processes
4-6 years of experience working at an digital agency or agency environment a plus
Experience in graphic design, marketing or advertising, or similar field of study
Hands on experience with logo design, layout design, design for social/digital and print production
Experience owning creative initiatives and projects with delivery across multiple channels (digital & physical +)
Knowledge of design applications in traditional and emerging channels
Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, After Effects and other visual design tools
Understanding of budgets and timelines and delivering the finished creative within those parameters
Incorporate feedback and take/give direction to interns or freelancers
Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
Experience working on a CPG client is a plus
Willingness to travelAdditional Information
The base compensation range for this job classification is between $50,000 and $70,000. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service and geographic location. This job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
