TITLE: Brand Manager 
TYPE: Full-Time, Exempt 
COMPENSATION: $45-50,000 Base Salary +20% Bonus Potential
LOCATION: Hotel Tango Corporate Office; 670 Virginia Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46203

JOB DESCRIPTION
Hotel Tango Brand Manager is responsible for protecting the integrity of the Hotel Tango brand, along with the design and execution of all brand assets, company collateral, digital assets, programming designs, and all support tools.  Brand Manager is the liaison between external trade partners and the Hotel Tango brand and will be accountable for all consumer-facing design elements. The Brand Manager is responsible for protecting the look of the brand and making sure all departments have the assets they need to execute programs, menus, and events. They are also responsible for maintaining our digital shelf and managing national partnerships with online platforms. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Hotel Tango Distribution Department with Marketing requests and assorted materials: 
  • Set up and manage one-off social media campaigns 
  • Strategize and execute targeted paid media initiatives 
  • Receive, approve and execute ad hoc design & merchandise support
  • Design, order, organize, and manage any marketing materials needed for Distribution campaigns and promotions
  • Distribute sales materials, point of sale, and necessary supplies to Distribution Department 
Create and execute Hotel Tango National Programming: 
  • Collaborate with Distribution team to ideate and publish a Company Programming calendar 
  • Manage all Programming design and support material for sales programming (ex. Memorial Day, PRIDE)
  • Oversee the design and creation of all physical and digital programming materials and assets 
  • Design, order, organize and distribute programming assets to Distribution team 
  • Allocate Programming materials to the correct parties and ensure accuracy in allocation tracking
  • Collaborate with Content Manager and design team to acquire new creative for any Programming    
Manage all Hotel Tango eCommerce and Digital Shelf platforms: 
  • Select strategic eCommerce partners for the purpose of spirits and merchandise sales and distribution
  • Negotiate pricing and margins with eCommerce partners and set pricing to consumers, hitting desired company margins at all times 
  • Execute strategic promotions to drive additional awareness and/or revenue via eCommerce sales 
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure timely notice to all internal and external stakeholders for any orders or deliveries needed
  • Maintain and manage Hotel Tango’s digital shelf (Libdib, Sevenfifty, Drizley, wine.com, Cask Cartel, etc.)
  • Educate, research and stay current on trends in the eCommerce industry and platforms that are available
  • Report sales/analytics back to Hotel Tango on a monthly basis 
Manage all Distribution and Events Merchandise: 
  • Design, order, manage all Merchandise for the Distribution and Events teams within the budget and direction given by the Director of Marketing
  • Organize and present quarterly merchandise deck to pertinent members of the Company 
  • Manage vendor relationships for product orders - design and swag-specific
  • Assist Content Manager in making sure Hotel Tango merchandise is properly promoted via eCommerce
Champion and protector of brand look, feel and representation, including:
  • Product Design and Ordering - trade show signage, sales and marketing collateral, brand merchandise 
  • Management of digital “Brand Center” for internal/external usage - logos, brand guidelines, frequently used social media/web imagery, collateral designs, etc.
  • Ensure that all External trade partners are using brand assets and representing the brand at standard 
  • Uphold brand style guide and playbook across all usage(s), including team member training, brand partnerships, market developments, paid media, social media and earned media
Networking and Industry Development: 
  • Develop relationships with HT marketing and distribution partners – distributors, retailers, military partners/ambassadors, local/regional businesses, etc.
  • Build, nurture, and grow relationships with vendors, partners, and potential partners nationally 
  • Attend industry events with the goal of growing the Hotel Tango Marketing network and to expose additional opportunities for partnerships 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Because of the nature of the organization, all candidates must be at least 21 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or similar field preferred 
  • Candidate must be eligible to attain alcohol permits in all existing Hotel Tango markets
  • Candidate must have experience working with Adobe, Acrobat and InDesign software platforms
  • Candidate must have skills in Microsoft, Apple, Google basic software platforms

  • Proficiency in general office management, digital communications, product research, and ability to stay organized and meet multiple deadlines  
  • Strong technological capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with attention to aesthetics a must 
  • Strong aptitude for design, creative marketing and independent thinking 
  • Well organized and ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work environment
EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years of experience in a design position 
  • 2+ years of experience in adult beverage or similar Distribution or Marketing position 
  • Experience in decision making, time management, quality control.
  • Experience in retail / customer service environment preferred

The Brand Manager will be measured on their ability to execute against the initial KPI’s and expected to build upon these further

  • DTC Revenue 
  • DTR Revenue
