Heritage Distilling Company is looking for an experienced and motivated Sales professional with outstanding leadership skills to build a strong and effective team to dominate the marketplace.

We seek a person who thrives on increasing sales and obtaining results.   We seek a person who can develop a competitive market strategy, identify key opportunities, follow-up, service existing accounts, and close deals, all while providing outstanding customer service and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers.  This person must have the ability to cover a large territory and a willingness to pound the pavement and drive sales while leading your team, and possess the following:
  • Proven experience in core selling skills, including negotiating, presentation, and closing.
  • Growth mindset and a "hunter" type of sales attitude.  Achieve sales targets for yourself and your team, and always be ready and willing to strive for even greater success.
  • The ability to train, motivate and lead a successful and effective Sales Team.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of customer requirements, competitors and market territory.
  • Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies.  Analyze data to find the most efficient sales methodology.
  • Experience selling through a distributor and managing the relationship.
  • Experience selling to key accounts and chains while hunting for new ones.
  • Ability to encourage and promote teamwork to boost productivity.
  • Self-motivated and effective time management skills, along with the ability to prioritize, manage, organize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization.
  • Aligns support to and from the marketing and event departments.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to support and work effectively with a variety of individuals, departments, co-workers, management, clients, and others in a consistent, courteous and professional manner.
  • Flexible schedule and availability.
  • Complete other work/special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, preferred.
  • Five or more years proven experience in increasing sales and revenue, this includes core selling skills, negotiation and presentation to individuals, groups, and closing.
  • Five or more years in a Territory Sales Manager role, preferred.  Have a proven track record of success leading, managing and motivating teams.
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, required.
  • Must be willing to travel 50-75% within territory with occasional overnight travel to corporate and other locations. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bartending experience, preferred.
  • Retail Merchandising, preferred.
  • Ability to be on feet all day and lift at least 50 lbs.
