About The Position
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with accounts. This role is accountable for driving sales while translating Health-Ade’s philosophy and objectives. This position sells Health-Ade products to retail food stores, wholesale grocers, restaurants, hotels, or institutions by performing the following duties.
• Must live in the assigned region and be willing to travel
• Entrepreneurial spirit; desire to exceed sales goals
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company
• Passion, a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with MS applications (Word, Excel, etc)
• Have a valid driver’s license; and have reliable transportation with the ability to drive a car to and from multiple locations throughout your workday
• Travel through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
• Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features when necessary.
• Set up and participate in in-store promotions, demos, and special events with the field marketing team.
• Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
• Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
• Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
• Attend trade shows
• Exceed sales goals and performance metrics
• Participates in overall sales strategy and execution for sale of Health-Ade Kombucha
• Uphold the brand integrity always
• Establish and maximize brand presence in all selling opportunities
• Maximize sales at current accounts using key marketing resources and retail execution at store level.
• Open new accounts in line with brand directives
• Void management throughout territory
• Establish relationships with store/retail managers
• Maximize the POS exposure in each account
• Prepare timely paperwork in a neat, legible, and professional manner.
• Keep thorough and up to date notes on all existing and target accounts.
• Look at territory with entrepreneurial eyes to seek out new opportunities to increase sales and activations.
