The Hampton Water Wine Company was founded to provide consumers with a high-quality French rosé without the snobby fuss. Founded in 2017 by Jesse Bongiovi, Ali Thomas, vintner Gérard Bertrand, and world renowned music icon Jon Bon Jovi.
Area Manager: HAMPTON WATER  
Position / Title:Area Managerof Hampton Water  (“HW”) 
Reports to:The CEO of Hampton Water
General Description:
An Area Manager sells the organization's product to established customers and develops new prospects within the assigned territory and coordinating with the Hampton Watersimporter/national distributors as well as local distributor personnel. The Area Manageris responsible for maintaining sustainable records of sales achievements/quotas. The Area Managerwill have a broad knowledge of the wineindustry as well as the organization's philosophy and policies. The position will require special training for sales of Hampton Water. 
Key Accountabilities: 
●      Design and implement incentives at the distributor to help achieve annual sales goals
●      Develop and maintain an organized list of key accounts in your territory (both on-off premise accounts)
●      Sell Hampton Water to accounts in coordination with local distributors and brokers 
●      Call on key accounts on an ongoing basis to review our brand program priorities
●      Work with the local distributor to ensure they are properly trained on HW 
●      Frequently ride along with distributor sales personnel to call on accounts within their territory 
●      Regularly attend on-premise promotional events. This may include after-hours
●      Direct accounts in the proper and effective merchandising techniques and to increase consumer awareness of HW (ie: Guiding proper shelf management positions)
●      Conduct staff training for the on and off-premise accounts (weekly) 
●      Maintain open communication with the brand’s importer and distributor sales forces to ensure execution of key programs and consistency with the brand’s strategic guidelines 
●      Ensure adherence to business plan budget and compliance requirements 
●      Demonstrate at all times world-class leadership skills, integrity, and follow-through 
●      Some travel will be involved 
Key Deliverables
●      Execute strategic marketing plans which translate to local field sales execution. 
●      Define and monitor key metrics to assess initiatives and drive HW success. 
●      Resolve issues as necessary to ensure the HW meets or exceeds its business plan objectives. 
●      Provide a weekly rollup of account calls and priorities for the upcoming week 
Job Requirement:
●      At least 3 years business/sales experience in the alcoholic beverage industry
●      BA/BS preferred
●      Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with quotas and goals
●      Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
●      Experience working with key chain and independent accounts in market area
●      Ability to work both independently and as a team player
●      Experience in identifying and executing events, festivals, tastings, and promotions
●      Ability to problem-solve and an inner drive to succeed
●      A flexible schedule that will allow for work some nights and weekends
●      Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as an ability to learn other technology to complete sales calls and recaps (Great Vines + iDig)
