Overview:
 
Halyard Brewing Company, the proprietors of the American craft ginger beer, are seeking a creative, charismatic, well organized, and hard-working sales professional.  As a field sales representative, you will be responsible for executing the company’s sales strategy for consumer exposure, volume in sales, and profitable growth. This position is as much about facilitating new customer encounters and acquisitions as it is developing business to business relationships with our distribution partners as well as key on and off premise accounts.  
 
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
 
●      Develop and maintain effective customer relations in order to promote the good will of the company.
●      Successfully sell, secure placements for and support distribution of all Halyard products in an assigned territory or markets.
●      Plan and Conduct promotions and special events on a regular basis and/or when required.
●      Develop new account relationships and secure new placements throughout an assigned territory and/or markets.
●      Execute monthly goals as related to business activities to support company growth.
●      Work with our local distribution partners in support of Halyard’s portfolio by working to grow general points of distribution within an assigned territory or market.
●      Participate in overall sales strategy, goal planning, and seek out new opportunities to increase sales and new points of distribution.
●      Prospect new business by determining focus areas/accounts within territory, setting up presentations, and utilizing account visit techniques.
●      Maintain self-education on Halyard brands as well as the craft beer industry and RTD categories.
●      Provide precise reporting on follow up market visit results, communication to Regional Manager/Business Development Manager on status of market conditions, and status on completion of future business objectives.
●      Organize an efficient schedule, including daily route planning, and monthly/quarterly/yearly sales planning to meet goals, increase market penetration and enhance customer service.
●      Keep thorough and up to date notes on all existing and target accounts within assigned territory.
●      Perform other projects and/or duties as necessary
 
 
Basic Qualifications:
 
●      Must be 21 years of age or older and live within the assigned territory.
●      A minimum of 1 year outside sales experience and/or on premise bar experience, buyer at off premise package or bottle shop, or other relevant sales experience.
●      Experience with VIP iDig and KARMA preferred.
●      Excellent communication and organizational skills with working knowledge of Google Suite.
●      Highly motivated person who must be able to build and maintain effective customer relationships.
●      This position requires a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR including a registered, reliable and insured vehicle.
●      Flexible schedule is a must - evening and weekend sampling events, promotions, and festivals.
