About The Position
An industry leading experiential marketing agency is looking for a seasoned Field Manager to oversee market-specific, field-based programming with a globally recognized spirits brand.
 Oversees the execution of field‐based programming in designated market areas and ensures the achievement of client objectives and agency business goals across a platform of varied and diverse “face‐to‐face” brand activations.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS: 
  • Own all aspects of the field activation for assigned programs, including training, logistics management and oversight, scheduling, on‐site management, reporting, quality assurance and communication with Field Directors, Account Team, and client (as requested) 
  • Motivate, inspire, and manage a program‐based field team activating multi‐branded programming across key US markets 
  • Build and maintain employee relationships to retain and grow the field network and managerial bench strength for ongoing and future activations 
  • Lead development of direct reports through mentorship, coaching and ongoing performance feedback and identification of learning opportunities; utilize provided tools to give feedback, establish objectives, and track progress throughout the year 
  • Maintain a live field presence, provide ongoing quality control measures, and ensure performance, quality, and program goals meet or exceed client and agency expectations; attend all non‐premise experiential events 
  • Utilize online reporting suite (Apex) to evaluate key performance metrics; identify programming efficiencies, areas of development, and on‐going strategies for achievement of project goals 
  • Facilitate and oversee the on‐time collection and communication of information; gather local intelligence, competitive landscape, and key field learnings and observations to support purposeful client updates and reporting 
  • Manage detailed labor, operational and programming budgets, ensuring program spend comes in at or under budget; collects and tracks budgets, providing roll‐ups to Field Director 
  • Partner closely with in‐office Account Teams 
  • Manage incremental business with client, developing budget proposals for local incremental business, and completing billing and reconciliation for said business 
  • Oversee the recruiting process, utilize agency tools and resources to source, interview, hire, and on‐board candidates, ensuring Field Team is following required steps and partnering with HR to process and on‐board new hire 
  • Review final candidates and roster and confirm the team is staffed to client‐requested profile; establish benchmarks and deadlines within the program timeline for each segment of the recruiting process 
  • Enter and approve time reports at minimum once a week and expense reports within 10 days of incurred expense 
  • Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience within field marketing management supervising teams of field representatives 
  • Experience overseeing spirits‐based programming preferred 
  • Successful track record of leading teams 
  • Team player and leader who is results‐oriented, proactive and demonstrates a strong work ethic 
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to integrate analytics into successful marketing actions 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to motivate staff and clients 
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and process orientation 
  • Able to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly and logically both verbally and in written form 
  • Able to effectively manage personal workload and non‐traditional schedule across multiple platforms 
  • Prioritize time and tasks to meet or exceed all agency/client expectations and deadlines in an efficient manner 
  • Ability to lead and influence clients and manage expectations effectively by providing sound counsel, identifying and implementing recommendations that advance/improve client’s business, educating the client on when/where the agency can be most impactful, and proactively communicating project progress 
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
