About The Position
Job Description: 
 A Senior Market Manager drives accelerated growth by setting and achieving strategic goals through managing wholesaler relationships, making direct sales calls, client visits and identifying opportunities which develop new business relationships and overall increase revenue. The ideal candidate must possess exemplary customer service skills, be detail-oriented and be able to manage the organization of multiple client accounts. 

Job Responsibilities:
Duties of this position include but are not limited to: 
·        Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory. 
·        Utilize strong selling skills, develop, and understand customer needs. 
·        Manage inventory and sales assets within our wholesale partners.
·        Identify opportunities and strategies to develop new business within assigned territory. 
·        Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner. 
·        Request and assist with obtaining necessary sales and distribution data from wholesaler partners.
·        Educate wholesaler sales teams as well as retail partners on the Ripe brand through staff trainings.
·        Manage and maintain direct account relationships ensuring that accounts are satisfied at all times. 
·        Attend and participate in trade shows, regional and company calls as required. 
·        Deliver effective sales presentations during customer meetings that result in increased penetration and growth. 
·        Provide feedback concerning brand positioning, competitive activities, market trends and report key insights with recommendations for solutions.
·        Oversee and develop Junior Market Managers within assigned territory (where applicable)
·        Understand and comply with all local and state laws applicable to beverage distribution.

Job Requirements: 
·        A bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing or similar field is preferred. 
·        A minimum of 3 years of sales experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. 
·        Experience in Wine and Spirit business preferred.
·        Exceptional analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
·        Basic math skills.
·        Strong planning and organizational abilities.
·        Good understanding and established relationships within the on premise 
·        Capability and willingness to work evening and weekend hours.
·        Bartending experience a plus.
·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
·        Ability and willingness to travel 80% of the time (mostly within the market).
·        Maintain valid state driver’s license.
·        Ability to pass a background check.
