About The Position
Frank Beer Distributors in Middleton, WI is now hiring for a Brand Manager. The Brand Manager works with suppliers and the sales team to develop brand strategies promoting brand growth and expansion.
Key Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develops and executes supplier brand programs including establishing discount pricing, forecasting sales, and advising purchasing team on inventory levels
  2. Develops relationships with supplier representatives and provides consistent updates on goals and programs
  3. Executes brand marketing plans, creates local brand programs, and evaluates retail pricing and profitability for the supplier, company and retail accounts
  4. Secures and expands distribution in assigned territory by setting benchmarks and calling on accounts both independently, and also with sales managers and sales representatives; includes responsibility for executing brand plans at retail
  5. Strategically partners with suppliers to enhance the company long-term brand equities, as well as, the profitability of retail partners
  6. Reviews monthly priorities to identify opportunities, underperforming accounts or potential loss of distribution within accounts
  7. Identifies and monitors brands for code date issues; creates a plan to move all product through retail accounts to ensure all brand packages are in distribution
  8. Maintains knowledge of the brand portfolio and promotions and maintains knowledge on available supplier budgets
  9. Purchases and maintains point-of-sale materials for programs; communicates point-of-sales materials available to sales team
  10. Conducts brand presentations in sales meetings; actively participates in meeting with sales managers and sales representatives
  11. Recruits and develops relationships with potential new suppliers
  12. Coordinates and develops relationships with all Frank Beverage Group companies and d
  13. Executes marketing plans that are sold into chain accounts
  14. Other duties as assigned

  13. Proven customer service skills and the ability to develop and grow strong customer relationships
  14. Ability to apply product knowledge to meet customer and supplier needs and support business profitability goals

  16. Maintains expert level knowledge of product portfolio and promotions
  17. Knowledge of supplier quality assurance standards
  18. Basic eoStar knowledge, conduct inventory, navigate pricing, deal structures and submit orders and intermediate knowledge including tips, shortcuts available tools, functionality and reviewing sales history
  19. Knowledge of supplier marketing guidelines and appropriate use of brands in displays and partnerships
  20. Familiarity with key state and federal regulations governing alcohol distribution services such as legal drinking age, licensing, use of free goods and outdated product replacement
  1. High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  2. Three Years’ Experience in related field (distribution, hospitality, supplier or beverage industry) is required
  3. May need to work evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
  4. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance is required
  5. Ability to travel on frequent basis to other Frank Beverage Group locations and supplier locations
  6. Ability to acquire and maintain necessary liquor salespersons permit
  7. Required to be at least 18 years of age
  8. Live with-in or in close proximity of assigned territory (preferred)
  9. Knowledgeable about assigned market; 1+ years' experience working in assigned market (preferred)
