About The Position
Social Media & Customer Service Coordinator for a high-growth Food CPG brand in California

We are seeking a Social Media & Customer Service Coordinator who will thrive in our collaborative, fast-paced environment. This role will be the connective tissue between our customers and our brand in the digital environment. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company on a great growth trajectory. Responsibilities include the following: 

  • Actively monitor the brand’s social channels, providing excellent customer service by ensuring customers hear back in a timely manner
  • Proactively seek out opportunities to engage our fans via social media platforms
  • Manage all email/SMS customer service inquiries and respond in a timely manner
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to create partner/influencer strategies and help manage communications with related communities and individuals
  • Ensure a consistent brand tone of voice throughout all community communications
  • Temporarily manage customer service voicemail while the company explores new alternatives
  • Track response times and report out on a monthly basis


    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years working in social media/brand communications/customer service
  • Experience within CPG preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of emerging customer service technologies
  • Experience at a smaller business/start-up environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting ability
  • A team player that can thrive in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities to meet business needs
