About The Position

Reporting to the VP of Distributor Strategy, the Distributor Account Manager’s (DAMs) primary responsibility is to manage, develop and maintain relationships with Fintech’s distributor customers. The DAM is responsible for managing these distributors and ensuring they are aware of and utilize all current Fintech payment support and data tools to grow their Fintech retailer customer base.

Essentials Functions: 
  • Manage assigned distributors including Tier 1
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing distributor customers
  • Increase Fintech retailers within the distributor customer base
  • Understand specific operations of each distributor customer related to their business.
  • Assist the distributor customers in understanding all the benefits of Fintech and how to utilize Fintech’s distributor payment support tools
  • Establish relationships with key decision makers within each distributor organization, beyond the day-to-day primary. May include A/P managers, Operations (Drivers), Sales management, Controllers and certain executives including CFO and/or CEO
  •  Ensure all distributors are participating in DEFT and all programs Fintech rolls out to distributor
  • Update records and databases in Salesforce to ensure distributor contact information is always current
  • Develop procedure with each distributor customer to maximize Fintech retailer relationships
  • Facilitate and follow up on the distributor customer needs within the Fintech organization 
  • Identify and elevate customer concerns to management


  • College degree preferred
  • Must have 3+ yrs. experience in the alcohol beverage 3 Tier system
  • Must have Distributor knowledge and experience
  • Alcohol Supplier and Retailer experience a plus
  • CRM sales management skills (Salesforce)
  • Alcohol beverage experience, particularly from the distributor perspective
  • Supplier and/or Retailer beverage alcohol experience 
  • Strong relationship-building skills required
  • Strong influence and persuasion skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Must be able to explain technical instructions in a user-friendly manner
  • Ability to interact and communicate with cross-functional internal staff in a timely and effective manner
  • Proficient in various software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Physical Requirements: This position is performed in a normal office environment.  Physical demands require occasional lifting up to 15 lbs., sitting > 66% of the time, standing or walking > 33% of the time, talking, hearing, using hands to touch, handle, keyboard > 66% of the time.

This position is physically located in Tampa, FL.  It is not a work from home arrangement.  Relocation is not provided
