For health conscious consumers who want great tasting quality nutrition, Evoke Healthy Foods provides low-sugar, plant-based meal and snack options made from whole grains, fruits, nuts, and seeds.
Our success depends on having a dynamic, intelligent and passionate team driven by the chance to truly change the food business for the better. We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual with at least 3-5 years of sales experience in the natural products industry to oversee all sales and related functions. In this new position, the Regional Sales Manager will collaborate with the CEO to maximize sales in existing distribution; identify new opportunities including regional and channel growth; manage relationships with retailers, distributors, and brokers; and plan and analyze promotional opportunities. 

Responsibilities
  • Leverage relationships to acquire key accounts
  • Manage distribution and broker networks effectively
  • Manage accounts and brokers without any “lower level” support
  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers in large accounts
  • Effectively manage tradespend with focus on ROI
  • Maximize sales in existing accounts
  • Provide support at events including industry tradeshows and consumer marketing events
  • Develop and implement annual sales plans by broker territory and key account
  • Collaborate with marketing resources and the executive team to define overall sales strategy, and to develop products and solutions responsive to the customer's business
Requirements:

Experience

  • At least three to five years of sales experience in food business
  • Proven track record of maximizing sales in existing accounts / increasing same-store sales
  • Experience working for a start-up / small company, growing a brand under $10M
  • Experience in the launching of new products
  • Demonstrated success in managing a national network of brokers and distributors
  • Driven by analytics and data (e.g. retailer/distributor reports) when making decisions and presenting to key customers
  • High proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, Powerpoint
