About The Position
Exciting opportunity to lead and execute field sales & field marketing for a unique ready-to-drink Mezcal cocktail brand (the only of its kind!) and work hand-in-hand with the founders to grow sales and distribution.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Market Manager will be responsible for achieving all volume and distribution goals for the brand through all channels of trade. This includes selling into new accounts, building and maintaining relationships with existing accounts, merchandising and increasing in-store presences, and driving sales velocity through demos, partnerships, activations and other creative means.


●       Build and maintain relationships with existing accounts (on and off-premise) to ensure prompt reorders, prominent shelf placement, and increasing order volumes
●       Merchandise existing accounts with point of sale materials, negotiate placement of displays, posters, and other brand assets; assist in the development and execution of point of sale materials
●       Sell into new on and off premise accounts and negotiate pricing, volume and other incentives
●       Plan and execute in store activations, including product demos, promos, pop up activities, with both on and off premise accounts
●       Build relationship with distributor reps and participate in ride withs to drive retail growth
●       Introduce creative sales execution concepts, share across state lines/regions if successful and aspire to be a leader in best practices
●       Maintain working key account list, and put together monthly sales and field activity recaps, as well as monthly sales and activation plans
●       Ensure all sales practices are compliant with state & company policies/law


●       Preferred 2 or more years of sales or field marketing experience in the alcoholic beverage or consumer products industry with knowledge and passion for both commercial and premium products in a retail environment
●       Knowledge of the three-tier system and dynamics of the alcoholic beverage industry
●       BA degree or equivalent experience
●       Well organized with ability to work both independently and within team environment
●       Results oriented, innovation, strong problem solving and negotiation skills
●       Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
●       Ability to work and succeed in dynamic entrepreneurial environment, including on evenings and weekends as needed
●       Valid US drivers license and ability to travel within Southern California as needed
●       Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain customer relationship
