Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking an HR Business Partner to join our fast-paced, fun, creative team in our Stamford, CT headquarters. This HRBP will support our Operations, Finance, IT, Marketing, Legal and Strategy functions and report to the Head of Human Resources. You will be responsible for aligning business objectives with HR strategy in four departments (totaling about 130 people) and will work in close partnership with the CMO and CFO. You will also play a leading role in diversity, equity & inclusion and our learning and development strategies. The position builds strong relationships with managers & employees to enhance workforce performance by supporting employee development, plan strategic HR initiatives, and serve as a consultant on all general HR issues.

This is a hybrid role and you will work with the team in Stamford an average of 2 days/ week or 8 days/month.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Provide HR leadership for activities such as talent management initiatives, compensation

planning and administration, employee relations consulting, organizational development initiatives, change management, conflict management, diversity and inclusion initiatives, leader consulting, HR communications

• Translate organizational needs into plans of action to achieve organizational goals and strategies

• Act as a primary point of contact and provide counsel and consulting services to internal partners across all levels of the organization including Vice Presidents and CFO

• Lead company-wide Learning & Development and Diversity, Inclusion & Equity strategies in partnership with the Head of Human Resources

• Partner with Recruiting team to identify top talent, and collaborate with HR team to ensure cohesiveness of talent recruitment strategy

• Provide thought leadership and process ownership for the compensation and headcount processes for the company

Job Requirements or Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration - or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred

• Minimum 5 years of Human Resources generalist experience

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and the ability to effectively interface and influence at all levels within the organization

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across both strategic and operational spaces

• Ability to influence, lead and manage projects

• Team player with strong customer service orientation

• Functions effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted business environment

• Ability to take initiative, develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas

• Excellent interpersonal assessment, communication, presentation and teamwork skills

• Ideally very skilled in excel and experienced in continuous improvement methodology
