CHEERS! Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits currently seeks a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager based in our Stamford, CT office. This position reports to the Senior Director, FP&A.

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will partner with National Marketing in P&L Management and Analysis in order to track brand performances on our Spirits portfolio. This position will support analytics relating to all measures: Volume, Mix, Revenue, Costs and Marketing Spends. This position will be responsible for financial management of brand profitability through risk and opportunity identification. This position interacts directly with all levels of National Marketing, Executive Management, Field Sales and other members of the Operations Group.

Qualifications:
  • Five to seven years’ experience in financial analysis/planning with experience in brand planning and commercial finance within a consumer products organization
  • Must be adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to identify issues/opportunities for improvement and be proactive in addressing them   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires innovation to provide management with alternative solutions and recommendations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with senior managers and discuss issues and plans
  • CPG Experience; Wine & Spirits Industry preferred
  • Requires a BS/BA degree in Finance/Accounting, MBA or CPA Preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Direct responsibility for full financial management of the Spirits portfolio. This will include the preparation of Brand P&L’s, monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting financial performance and analysis-highlighting any potential issues and suggestions for resolution to management. Identification and monitoring of all brand risks and opportunities
  • Track, analyze and assist in managing Brand Spending/Programming (Brand Benefit Calendars) 
  • Perform ROI analysis
  • Perform month end/year end close responsibilities including preparation and tracking of accruals and analysis of actual results versus budget 
  • Support and drive long term/strategic planning for the Spirits Portfolio
  • Interact with Production and Supply Chain teams to assist in managing Spirits purchases, production and inventories Adhoc analysis to assist management in the strategic decision-making process
