CHEERS! Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking a Corporate Attorney to join its fast-paced, intellectually-rich, collaborative environment. This position will report to, and work closely with, the General Counsel of Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits. This location of this position is flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiating, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements (e.g., marketing, advertising and sponsorship, vendor, distribution, technology, etc.)
- Providing legal advice and advising internal teams on contract terms, best practices, commercial implications, legal risks, etc
- Lead initiatives to improve contract processes, including by reducing cycle times and increasing efficiency
- Other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- Position requires JD, Bar membership, and a minimum of four (4) years of corporate/transactional experience
- Strong transactional background, with experience in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational skills and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment
- High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment
- Excellent legal and commercial judgment and acumen
