About the job:

Reporting to the CFO for Danone North America, the SVP Finance is accountable for the administrative, financial and risk management of the five Danone US Business Units, which have a combined size of approximately $5B. A member of the both the Business Acceleration Team (BAT) for Danone US and Finance Leadership Teams (FLT) for NORAM, the incumbent will be responsible for providing sound, progressive and engaging leadership while contributing to the effective management of these organizations. This role will be a strategic partner to the President, Categories & Consumers for Danone US helping to guide sound business decisions to meet and exceed the overall financial and strategic objectives of the Company, and to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies.
• Act as strong Strategic Business Partner together with President and Business Unit GMs, providing business insights & understanding of market dynamics to drive
strategic choices together
• Lead the development and implementation of short, medium and long-term financial planning, reporting and monitoring systems, and ensuring alignment with the
organization's strategic direction and protection of the company's interests to mitigate risks
• Provide professional advice and objective financial analysis which enable decision makers to make timeline and informed business decisions, ensuring that
opportunities and risks are fully considered and that decisions are aligned with the overall financial strategies.
• Lead the promotion and delivery of solid financial management practices so that funds and assets are safeguarded at all times and are used appropriately,
economically, efficiently, and effectively
• Partner with the Danone NA teams to determine the resources, expertise and systems for the finance function that are sufficient to meet business needs and
negotiate these within the overall financial framework
• Work with the NORAM Internal control team to establish internal control guidelines, monitor compliance and efficiencies of control
• Providing key insights, coaching & mentoring for direct reports in order to optimize performance.
• Manage Danone US BU Finance team, ensuring direct reports' KPIs are being met and are aligned with business area's KPI's.
• Cultivating company culture, employee engagement, productivity and passion.

About you:
• 15+ years progressive financial experience
• Minimum 10 years' experience with a public accounting firm or a CPG environment
• Experience managing large teams & navigating a matrixed organization
• Experience in global organization preferred
• Should have experience in partnering with an executive team with strong analytical & storytelling capability to facilitate and drive decision making
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship building capabilities.
• Strategic, resourceful, & creative individual who is a proven hands-on leader that thrives in a team environment.
• Strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities.
• High organizational agility with strong ability to navigate ambiguity
• Collaborative leadership style - able to mobilize and influence in a matrixed organization
• Ability to flex between strategic thinking and detailed focus
• Authentic, genuine leader who values transparency, openness, and drives accountability
• Strong management/people sills, with strong coaching capability
• Exceptional Microsoft Office knowledge.
