Cutwater Spirits is currently hiring Sales Representatives in the Greater Bay Area to join our growing team.

Determined to grow market share in all segments of the business, Sales Representatives are responsible for growing the company portfolio and engaging consumers through point of sale, shelf assortment, and creative displays at retail accounts. In addition, Sales Representatives identify new market and business opportunities to increase market share while building and maintain relationships with accounts and retailers. The Sales Representative works independently under the loose general guidance of the Regional Sales Manager.

While the company is headquartered in San Diego, CA, this position spends of the bulk of their time in the field in their assigned market. Opportunities available in the following areas:
  • Bay Area
  • San Jose
  • Sacramento
  • San Francisco
Daily Duties, Functions, Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales in off-premise and on-premise retail business.
  • Assist with merchandising and the implementation of programming in chain locations.
  • Achieve distribution, display space, and shelf placement objectives in off-premise retail accounts.
  • Secure menu features, back bar placement, and promotions to bring brand awareness in on-premise retail accounts.
  • Increase brand presence in the marketplace by facilitating promotional and tasting events each month.
  • Strengthen and expand current business partnerships with off-premise and on-premise retail accounts.
  • Educate and manage the Distributor Sales Teams to ensure they are presenting and executing to Cutwater standards.
  • Passionately share the Cutwater story.
  • Participate in new product launches, promotions and events as the face of Cutwater Spirits.
  • Embraces and fulfills the core values and culture of Cutwater Spirits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Conditions:
  • Work takes place in variety of environments throughout assigned market.
  • Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move products, hang point of sale materials and fulfill other physical requirements including: repetitive lifting, bending and pulling/pushing.
  • Conducts work in a sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong time and project management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a varied workload.
  • Captivating storytelling skills.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop and grow strong customer relationships.
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Have reliable transportation to travel to and from various locations.
  • 1 or more years of sales/business development experience (preferred).
  • Spirits/alcohol beverage industry knowledge a must.
  • 1 or more years experience in sales in beverage alcohol industry (preferred).
  • Knowledgeable about assigned market. 1+ years experience working in assigned market (preferred).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).

*This role gets a Quarterly Bonus for up to 10K Annually.
