About The Position

About the Candidate
We are looking for long-term commission-based help. We will pay very generous dollars per case sold. We need very successful and established sales professionals with strong working relationships and the trust of major retailers in the assigned market. 
 
You are strategic and knowledgeable about the wine and & spirits industry, great at building and managing relationships, take pride in successful selling, and providing excellent service. You are full of energy, enjoy being in the field, are extremely well connected with the buyers and decision-makers, are eager to learn, grow, and face challenges. You understand the concepts of luxury, sophistication, and elegance. Preferably you have experience selling whiskey and some basic knowledge of wine. You are reliable and honest.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with Coalition CEO based in NY
  • Identify and manage appropriate accounts shortlist
  • Actively present and sell the brand at all times
  • Manage shelf placements to maximize ROI 
  • Perform Samplings when/where appropriate
  • Collect and interpret feedback from accounts and discuss implications with the CEO
  • Timely complete necessary reporting
  • Provide pricing and services in alignment with company pricing strategy and service capabilities
  • Manage accounts outstanding payments
  • Be a true ambassador for the brand
Requirements:
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Hungry for earning and comfortable with commission-based model
  • 3+ years of experience in sales role in the wine & spirits industry
  • Track record of over-achieving sales goals
  • Self-motivation in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic in building and expanding business
  • Outstanding selling and communications skills
  • High internal motivation for achievement
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

About the Company 
Coalition Rye Whiskey is a brand-new beautiful and ambitious Kentucky 100% Rye Whiskey finished in select Bordeaux wine barrels. The liquid is valuable, truly authentic and scarce – it has been vetted by the top experts. There are 3 SKUs, depending on type of Bordeaux barrels, all in 750 size. Proprietary rich looking bottle reminiscent of timeless Art Deco concepts. Coalition will retail for solid $90 in several most important US markets.
 
Distributor of record is Park Street and this will enable Coalition to avoid any bureaucracy and clutter while maximizing commission for your work. Core focus is premium Off premise channel and selected On Premise if/when appropriate. Overall emphasis is on quality of work and not volume at any cost.

Planning to launch sales to accounts in October this year.
