About The Position
Responsibilities:
• Manage select NE open and control markets with an emphasis and home location in the NY Metro area
• Interfacing with distributor contacts which includes: attending and/or presenting at wholesale houses with distributor brand managers; implementing work-withs; attending and/or presenting at sales meetings; developing key accounts; targeting top 100 accounts; merchandising Castle Brands products; managing/attending events, promotions and trade shows
• Sales and merchandising of Castle Brands products in all off-premise accounts
• Direct communication with current on- and off-premise market managers and interfacing throughout assigned accounts
• Managing relationships with key targeted on- and off-premise accounts - establishing, maintaining and strengthening “Customer Focused” mindset
• Increasing distribution in key off-premise accounts for all Castle Brands products
• Merchandising shelf and positioning, floor displays and window signs in key off-premise accounts
• Establishing, monitoring and maintaining key account information relating to Castle Brands portfolio and competitive categories
• Other duties as needed
Requirements:
• 5+ yrs. experience in the sale and distribution of beverage alcohol
• Extensive knowledge of area markets and laws governing spirits industry
• Extensive knowledge of effective marketing, promotional and positioning techniques in spirits industry
• Licensed driver of motor vehicles
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to travel
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, team player
• Flexible enough to step into other areas as requested
• Friendly, positive, outgoing and professional
• Able to handle many projects simultaneously
• Bachelor’s Degree
