PLAN:The FMM needs to jump in with a will vs what attitude. Instead of asking what do I need to do, this person has an entrepreneurial spirit and the experience that enables him/her to present what we should do
TEAM: Recruit and/or manage agency partners to ensure we build a team of bad-ass brand ambassadors who live the brand to educate consumers and drive trial at on and off premise events and demos however, it is IMPORTANT that the FMM also knows that they will be working a lot of the initial activations SOLO as we build the plane as we fly it. No egos allowed here. Roll up your sleeves attitudes only.
LOCAL PARTNERSHIPS: find and cultivate real, meaningful relationships with brand aligned businesses, complimentary brands, bars, restaurants, and liquor stores.
REPORTING YOUR SUCCESS: Work with regional sales lead to build realistic KPIS and build a cadence to recap your wins to the great marketing and sales team
DISTRIBUTOR SUPPORT: Consistent ride alongs with our distributor partners to help build brand love with our distributor partners and accounts.Working closely with the regional sales lead you will retain, train and develop a group of brand ambassadors to execute on and off premise samplings.
ON-PREMISE: Identify our top “adventure ready” accounts and sell in the products but more importantly, the brand experience. The primary objective in our on-premise execution is to drive trial amongst target consumers to create a halo effect in-market. Support these partners with happy hours, staff training, creative activations and more.
INFLUENCERS: identify and foster relationships and build out a plan on how you will work with them on creative ways to drive awareness and trial
SOCIAL MEDIA: Build social media into every touch point from taking photos at events to working with local influencers, media and our partners to ensure they are posting on their channels as well
Core Requirements
Min. 3 years in field marketing manager or similar role
Availability to work up to 35 hours a week
Possess excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and customer service skills
Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays, as needed
Must have reliable transportation, clean driving record and be able to pass a background check
Ability to lift 20 lbs., load, set up, execute and tear down promotional items.
