We are a group of entrepreneurial and passionate team players looking for a State Manager, Texas to join our company. 

What You'll Be Doing:
In – Market Execution: 
  • Full responsibility for all commercial activity in Texas
  • Develop and maintain the highest quality standards of retail executions in order to deliver annual targets
  • Partner with distributor to ensure flawless execution across all channels (on, off, & chain)
  • Work with National Accounts to develop, maximize and execute all brand objectives including growth, distribution and merchandising targets
  • Lead the team in using and developing fact/need based selling tools/techniques 
  • Set and implement effective pricing strategies that are aligned across value chain
  • Direct POS, feature and display activities to ensure excellent execution and maximum effectiveness during key selling periods
  • Develop, oversee and monitor sales & depletion goals within assigned market to ensure targets are met
  • Ensure quality of brand mix, inventory, size mix and market pricing are set to drive short and long term growth  and profitability targets
  • Survey the market regularly (2-3x/year)
  • Develop relationships with key on and off premise accounts
Distributor Management:
  • Ensure preferred supplier status with distributors, agencies, retailers and business partners
  • Set, track and evaluate distributor KPIs, based on brand/market priorities; take corrective action as necessary
  • Manage inventory and shipments to meet company and market CNSV goals
  • Participate regularly in Distributor work-withs
  • Oversee training of Distributor Salesforce
  • Plan and manage budgets: price support, local programming funds, local marketing funds (DA/DP, LPF, LMF)
  • Conduct regular business reviews with distributor GMs
  • Ensure distributor sales and management understand all in store brand objectives and strategies
Strategic Platform:
  • Participate in the brand planning process; oversee development and execution of regional and market-based brand objectives
  • Monitor flow of activities required to achieve brand priorities by market and channel                                                                    
What We Think You Need:
  • 8-10 years of distributor management, Supplier experience required
  • Strong distributor relationship 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and influence skills
  • A self-starter, well organized with experience of the on-trade market is essential
  • The ability to work within a variety of team situations as well as working independently
  • The individual needs to be success driven, self-motivated and prepared to work hard and invest the necessary time to achieve his/her targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
  • Proven track record of success increasing sales volumes within targeted accounts
