About The Position
The VP of Sales and Marketing provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship for the organization's sales and marketing function. This person is accountable for the overall sales and marketing organization, distribution strategy and relationships, and the profitable achievement of the brand's goals.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Usher this unique RTD brand into alcoholic beverage distribution houses
  • Market, sell, and distribute new products utilizing the company's proprietary formula
  • Direct, design, and implement an overall marketing strategy
  • Oversee eCommerce and social media expansion
  • Responsible for sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting
  • Accountable for analyzing consumer markets and establishing new points of distribution
  • Establish, manage, and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with distributors and retailers
  • Manage overall field marketing and merchandising program to support brand building and velocity
  • Accountable for effective sales organization design, including developing the in-house sales organization, sales channel design, sales resource deployment, and sales organization support budget
  • Define and achieve strategic organizational objectives for revenue and revenue growth
  • Define and execute launch plans for new product innovation.
  • Develop Point-of-Sale and product promotion material

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • College degree, MBA preferred
  • 2 years of experience at the executive level of an alcoholic beverage company that has achieved and maintained sales
  • A self-starter with a minimum of 10 years of experience with sales and marketing in the distilled spirits/liquor industry (RTD experience preferred)
  • Experience managing a national distribution partner
  • Extensive recent experience growing a brand in natural and conventional channels
