JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in overall sales strategy and goal planning for sale of a unique, new to world beer
Execute short- and long-term sales objectives and strategies for market
Prospects new business by determining focus areas within territory, setting up presentations, and utilizing stop-by techniques
Work with designated distributors to meet sales goals and objectives
Help set up and participate in on-premise promotions and special events
Organize an efficient schedule including a daily route along with a monthly, quarterly and yearly plan
Keep thorough and up to date notes on all existing and target accounts
Plan and participate in regular distributor training activities including presenting at sales meetings, riding with distributor sales personnel, and distributing new sales material to sales staff
Schedule and conduct distributor team meetings to inform and educate sales representatives of brand standards to optimize sales performance
Manage market work with distributor sales representatives
Submit and review a weekly account report, Monthly Calendar and Sales Planner
Maintain accurate records regarding distributor profiles, retail and on-premise distribution, and competitive activity and pricing
Manage all sales expenses and budgets for market/region
Assist building field sales team by identifying and evaluating potential team members
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Integrity, Accountability and Attention to detail
At least 3 years sales experience: spirits, wine, or beer experience
Bachelor’s degree
Passionate about all Foods! Strong knowledge and interest in global cuisines. Restaurant work experience a plus, but not required
Comprehensive understanding of how the beverage alcohol business functions
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively with sales reps and buyers
Ability to develop brand-building plans that are commercially viable and implementable
Ability to analyze and think strategically
Must be able to build and maintain customer relationships
