About The Position
Manage overall relationship from strategic vision to execution for ULTA and Macy’s accounts. Drive 360 retail plans and activation opportunities with these accounts and deliver sustainable growth plan within the Retail channel. Role requires an astute business manager with strong relationship building skills and understanding of marketing programs. Works closely with Director of Sales, Sales Operations Manager and Retail Marketing.
Strategic responsibilities
·    Deepen relationships and strengthen partnerships at all levels within each account
·    Develop overall omni strategy for accounts to include dotcom (in partnership with Manager), core business, promotional business, kits, and co-branding opportunities to build sales and rankings
·    Partner with Manager to align in-store and e-commerce business to create a holistic omnichannel strategy
·       Develops full 360 calendar of tailored activation for retailer, leveraging overall brand category and marketing objectives for B&M and .com
·       Leverage understanding of retailer and local market nuances to help set overall account strategy that guides category priorities, marketing campaigns, assortment, merchandising, promos/samples/GWP/sets, events and all other parts of the business
·       Partner with Sales Operations Sr Manager, to negotiate OTB, stock and sales plans
·       Drive assortments strategies, (online, instore homebay and secondary exposures) optimize sell through and minimize returns
·       Partner with Field Sales Director and Education to maximize instore sales, events and education opportunities to drive sell thru
·       Constantly negotiate to optimize space, location and assortment across stores and online
Marketing responsibilities
·       Ensure right marketing activities (in store, co-op, digital/social, etc.) support events, promos and other brand activities
·       Partners with Retail Marketing to ensure strong business decisions on marketing, assortment, sampling, sets, exclusives and GWPs tailored to retailers’ customers
·       Partners with Retail Marketing to ensure strong visual presence in store – in home bay and secondary merchandising
·       Partners with manager to ensure strong visual presence on retailer.coms
Business Responsibilities
·      Held to annual targets (retail sales, gross sales, promo discounts, co-op advertising) and shapes the execution of these items at the retailer
·       Reports on strategy, sales, rankings and budget progress
·       Partners with VP/GM, Director of Sales, Sales Ops and Finance to prep Monthly P&L Estimate
·       Partner with Sales Ops on stock levels, core and launch forecasting, RTVs
·       Creates weekly analysis and recommendations to improve sell through results
·       Partners with Sales Ops to create weekly sell in analysis and recommendations to optimize sell-in
Skills & Experience
·       Strong relationship building skills, business, and financial acumen
·       Solid experience in P&L management, key business drivers and business analyses
·       Solid understanding of primary levers and components to a successful marketing campaign
·       5+ years relevant work experience
·       Proven, successful sales track record within Consumer Goods. Beauty industry experience preferred.
·       Able to build collaborative relationships and work cross functionally with sales, marketing, retail partners, demand planning and supply chain
·       Must be proficient at Excel and Power Point
·       Strong presentation skills
·       Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
·       Highly motivated with the ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
