Role Responsibilities - The Procurement Analyst will be stationed inside the plant and serve as a Procurement Representative on the Plant Operations Team
- Support the Procurement team with a wide range of deliverables spanning coordination of New Product Development product launches, sourcing,championing supplier relationship management (SRM), ensuring supplier compliance, supplier readiness and onboarding, driving and supporting BSI internal and supplier sustainability initiatives and bringing forward supplier innovation.
- Key resource and point of contact for all OU indirect, and maintenance procurement
- Operational responsibility for procurement policy and procedure development and implementation
- Use strategic category planning involving market research and benchmarking against other suppliers and services to drive value and efficiencies.
- Monitor, analyze and take action to support Category Managers regarding supplier performance
- Mature, Maintain, and Continuously improve Supplier Scorecarding process
- Supports Procurement and Quality departments in supplier action plan in case of recurring performance deviations until acceptable performance is reached
- Responsible for ensuring suppliers are engaged & in support of BSI's development projects, set up properly in all systems, and are in compliance with all policy's, terms, and conditions
- Support BSI Planisware workflow to ensure components are costed, suppliers are enabled, and options are completely vetted
- Support cross-functional project teams with supplier led innovation & technology initiatives
- Assist in managing and categorizing spend analytics
- Provide analytic supports to Category Managers as needed
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and develop plans to implement change
Qualifications & Experience - Understanding core Procurement requirements and supporting the delivery of them
- Analyze procurement related data, draw conclusions from data analytics, and effectively share conclusions with appropriate stake holders
- Skilled at communication, influencing & driving results with cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization
- "Big picture mindset" - Ability to work in "white space areas" where processes are being defined, tested, and improved in real time
- Consistent process implementation
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Finance roles preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Self-reliant, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytically inclined - able to merge large data sets, analyze data, synthesize business insight and clearly communicate findings.
- Problem Solver - applies critical-thinking skills to generate, evaluate and implement solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a conceptual thinker with ability to adapt to change
- Broad skill set with good judgment and a mature, practical, strategic, and creative mindset
