Position Mission: The Quality Manager has oversight of quality related tasks specific to manufacturing operations, ensure cost-effective measures are implemented, and delivery of quality products.

Role Responsibilities

Reports to: Plant GM

Position Mission: The Senior Quality Manager has oversight of all quality related tasks specific to manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality products using cost-effective measures.

Position Responsibilities
These are the essential functions of the position but not limited to these activities:

• Manage all aspects of Manufacturing Quality (Bottling, Processing, Shipping/Receiving) at the Frankfort plant
• Identify, implement, and manage Quality department goals and objectives
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive Quality initiatives within the plant
• Develop and implement site Capital Plan related to Quality improvements
• Initiate and manage capital projects to enhance Quality systems
• Manage and monitor Quality improvement projects throughout the site
• Implement and monitor plant adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 Management Systems
• Develop and implement all Quality training for the facility
• Develop, implement, and maintain Frankfort packaging quality standards (finished cases and raw materials)
• Investigate consumer and distributor complaints
• Issue Corrective Actions to departments as needed
• Lead Root Cause Problem Solving team(s) as needed
• Perform sensory and analytical evaluations of products as needed
• Identify and implement profit improvement projects within the department and plant
• Ensure plant is meeting all regulatory requirements related to Quality and Food Safety
• Implement new Global Quality standards at the plant
• Ensure current Global Quality standards are met at the plant
• Implement TRACC methodology as Quality Best Practice Leader
• Communicate risks to Plant GM and Global Quality team as needed
• Lead and develop Quality Engineers, Lab Manager, and personnel
• Prepare and communicate reports and presentations as needed

• Support plant Health, Safety and Environmental Programs through personal and departmental goals and objectives
• Support Diversity & Inclusion initiatives through individual and departmental goals and objectives
• Support and implement all Company Policies and adherence to the Collective Bargaining Agreement
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

Requirements for Consideration

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, food science, biology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years Quality Control management experience, preferably in Food Manufacturing
• Working knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and practices

Desired Qualifications / Skills
• HACCP Certified
• ISO 9001 and/or ISO 22000 Lead Internal Auditor Certification or GFSI equivalent
• Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified
• Food Defense Certified
• TRACC (Continuous Improvement) experience
• Effective communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
• Knowledge of SAP

Physical Requirements
• Constantly walking, standing, and sitting
• Must be able to lift 25lbs (or 1 case of product) regularly and repetitively
• Must be able to climb a minimum of three (3) flights of stairs in succession
• Must be able to climb a ladder and use platforms
• Must be able to work in hot or cold conditions
• Have acceptable (or corrected) visual acuity and depth perception. Have acceptable (or corrected) hearing
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English with understanding as it relates to job tasks
