The following position is is open in Frankfort, KY., -Senior Financial Analyst - Bottling Excellence

Role Responsibilities

  • The Sr. Financial Analyst, Bottling Excellence will be responsible for reporting and analyzing financial results in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, accounting principles and corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • The Sr. Financial Analyst is a key role in driving financial acumen across the plant. Educating GM's, Managers and Supervisors of the various cost buckets and opportunities for savings to ensure financial targets are delivered.
  • This role is a key member of the continuous improvement agenda that includes redefining KPI'S, reporting improvements and loss analysis.
  • Provide centralized support for account analysis, account reconciliations, period close, weekly & monthly KPI's, operations & capital budgets and partnership with operations to build business cases
  • This role will work directly with other Finance Business partners to support NA initiatives
  • This role will work directly with internal & external customers to build and leverage relationships across boundaries by developing formal and informal networks to share best practices and gain consensus.

Outcomes/Success Criteria
  • Partnering with all plant senior managers and GM providing them data that drives performance improvements, ensuring that plant financial targets are achieved
  • Timely completion of close, plant KPI's, forecast
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and further evolve plant reporting and continuous improvement efforts. In order to drive growth in analytical capabilities, and elimination of non-value-added work.
  • Develops comprehensive and actionable work plans and prioritizes multiple tasks effectively.
  • Delivers on commitments with attention to detail and a sense of urgency. Internal drive to learn and execute without significant outside intervention.
  • Considers pros and cons of protentional outcomes and communicates/escalates to stakeholders accordingly.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide reporting and insights to operational partners on performance results, loss and waste. Participate in TRACC and CI work to follow insights through to improved financial performance.
  • Prepare various daily, weekly and monthly KPI'S to identify risks and opportunities and drive process improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams throughout the region and globally.
  • Perform monthly plant close, preparing journal entries
  • Prepare plant operating budget, and participate in long term strategic planning
  • Create and submit monthly reporting schedules
  • Complete monthly forecasting schedules including depreciation, inventory, expense on Capital and COGS forecast
  • Prepare Capital tracker; forecast vs. actual with current PO'S
  • Prepare and coordinate the internal monthly management business review
  • Provide monthly Cost Center information to departmental managers
  • Prepare weekly R & M tracker including work orders, PO's and T & E
  • Coordinates annual asset tagging and ensure timely closing of assets upon completion of project
  • Participate in performance enablement efforts, that drive enhanced reporting and analytics tools
  • Ad Hoc projects and analysis as needed

Education- Finance, Accounting or equivalent degree

Certifications/Licensure- CPA or MBA preferred

Years of experience- 5 + years work experience in Finance / Accounting or Business Analysis

Industry experience- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. Solid understanding of activity-based-costing /cost accounting.

Travel %- minimal

Additional qualifications desired: Strong working knowledge of financial/data systems (SAP ERP, SAP HANA, Business Warehouse, Tableau). Skilled in Microsoft office suite, especially Excel.
