- The Enterprise Architect: Digital (EAD) helps to reduce risk, increase business value, and manage costs as a member of the Enterprise Architecture team.
- This position reports intothe Director of Enterprise Architecture and is a member of Enterprise Architecture Team.
As an Advisor
The EAD deﬁnes patterns, builds reference models, and stewards technology roadmaps to drive best practices, coach project delivery teams during key milestones, and continuously drive innovation and improvement of Digital Commerce Platforms.
Build and sustain credibility as a domain expert in emerging MarTech, eCommerce, social media, and other consumer-facing technologies.
As a Steward
Key priorities will include reducing risk like tech debt, technology inefficiencies, or total cost of ownership of existing technology assets. To do so, the EAD must be able to educate, guide, and influence stakeholders, IT delivery teams, and IT leaders to work towards best practices and standards set in architectural patterns.
This architect is part of governance facilitation through processes like the ARB, TRB, and annual planning. They serve as stewards of architectural patterns set by key stakeholders with an annual value realization review or IT audit.
As a Strategist
This key contributor deﬁnes, inﬂuences, and evolves digital strategy, standards, and technology roadmap of the future-state digital ecosystem. This may include how Industry 4.0 technologies create relevant business value and drive measurable business outcomes. This architect is responsible for future-proofing their domain and driving thought leadership in a methodical, realistic manner.
