About The Position
Job Summary

The Regional Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing the Atomic Brands portfolio in the off premise among local and regional grocery, convenience, and liquor channel chains in the MI and OH Market. The Regional Key Account Manager will work directly for the VP of US Chain Sales to develop and grow new and existing strategic chain accounts.   

The main goal of the Regional Key Account Manager role will be to expand Local/Regional chain penetration and performance.  The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a front line sales rep including merchandising, have experience in multi-channel off premise accounts,  experience managing chain business, be successful managing distributor relationships to drive brand share of mind and customer access, and have experience driving store level execution with internal teams.

Preferred residence of candidate would be in the Michigan or Northern Ohio area as this role would manage the local and regional chain business in both states.

Role Expectations

·        Manage relationships with retail chain buyers in designated geography to achieve targets -own the call at the desk
·        Work very closely with distributor teams throughout the sales process.  Be wired into their organization - be the face of our brands
·        Engage internal frontline Area Managers and Reps to support in store execution and selling initiatives
·        Use insights from syndicated data, internal reporting, and distributor data to identify and capitalize on opportunities
·        Leverage/manage promotional activity with retailers through routinely scheduled in person and virtual calls
·        Grow brand footprint and velocity within existing chains
·        Establish distribution within new chains
·        Identify and communicate promotional/POS needs internally and with distributors across account base
