The Director of Sales owns the customer experience and works with top decision makers, talented chefs, restaurateurs, cafes, offices, hotels, specialty grocery to design, implement, and maintain tea programs that meet Art of Tea’s standard of excellence. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, able to develop trusting relationships, and most importantly is a team leader with a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality. Passionate about tea and hospitality, please help us grow our presence in the space.

We are seeking candidates in the surrounding area of Los Angeles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and qualify prospective outbound wholesale partners, adding new qualified business to the region. Manage these relationships to produce win-win outcomes for clients and Art of Tea.
Lead our sales team initiatives and quarterly goals for growth through the (EOS) Traction Methodology. 
Actively consult new and existing clients to create or maintain consistent high quality coffee programs that are in line with Art of Tea’s standards.
Qualify all incoming leads in a prompt and professional manner. Follow up accordingly.
Work closely with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement a high growth diversified sales strategy for the region.
Own the onboarding process and experience from beginning to end for new wholesale clients. Provide comprehensive hands-on training, product presentations, and continuing education for groups of all sizes.
Manage a portfolio of legacy accounts, allocating company resources appropriately to fulfill the clients’ needs.
Develop ownership of relationships with key hospitality professionals and specialty stores.
Participate in hospitality related events including trade shows, wellness and coffee events to seek out new products, equipment, and industry trends.

REQUIREMENTS
A self-starter, a quick learner, and will have the ability to efficiently manage various responsibilities while keeping management informed.
3 years of sales leadership experience in specialty food and beverage or a related industry.
Passionate about tea and hospitality.
Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Enjoys interacting with clients and building relationships
Eagerness to grow as a tea professional.
Experience with Microsoft and google suite (excel, word, powerpoint or equivalents)
Occasionally work non-traditional hours and weekends and lifting, moving, and/or carrying tea equipment
Experience with CRM and data software (Hubspot, Shopify, etc.) is preferred.
