About The Position
AMN Distributors is seeking an experienced South FL-Dade/Broward County Area Sales Representative, whose primary responsibilities will include developing new distribution for AMN Distributors/Premium Blend’s most complete line of low proof Spirit and Cordial substitutes. This role’s primary focus will be to introduce and develop new distribution and volume sales in the metro Miami-Dade/Broward County On-Premise trade channel. Ideal candidates must be motivated, driven, ambitious, have excellent customer service and follow up skills, be dependable, honest, professional, hardworking, can effectively prioritize projects, and be able to self-manage and regulate (specifically time management and territory call planning). We are looking for experienced Sales “Hunters & Closers.”
Primary Duties Include:
- Maintain and develop key account list and set yearly goals and targets for distribution and volume tailored to accounts under the direction of the Director of Sales.
- Develop, post, and maintain weekly work schedule, listing daily locations and planned activities, updating daily and/or weekly as needed.
- Target 10+ account calls per day, including progress reports and/or updates.
- Utilize sales tools effectively to grow business, identify new opportunities, make new placements, and track key initiatives.
- Ensure POS (Point of Sale Materials) and other Marketing assets are utilized in the field.
- Prepare, develop, and implement creative brand programs to activate the consumer, including product sampling and demos.
- Provide diligent follow up.
- Assess market needs, report to Director of Sales.
- Manage and track KPI’s.
- Manage T&E per Company policies.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience selling wine and spirits with another wine supplier and/or Distributor in the FL market.
- Bilingual-Spanish & English preferred.
- Existing On & Off Premise trade channel relationships in So. FL preferred.
- Valid FL Driver’s License.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly verbal, including strong visual marketing & presentation skills.
- Enterprising spirit and field sales experience with a strong emphasis on new business development, face to face selling, and closing the sale.
- Proven history of achieving sales goals and growing new and existing distribution for both premium and value priced brands in the wine & spirits industry.
- Seasoned organization, reasoning, judgement, and critical thinking & problem-solving skills are necessary to coordinate multiple projects, resolve problems, and turn negatives into positives.
- Ability to work independently, looking for a “self-starter.”
- Willing to be very “hands-on” to get the job done!
- This is not an “office” job!
- Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds.
- Residence in Dade/Broward County preferred.
