•  You are a builder of the Brand and a driver of business growth through marketing straetgy and communications. 

•  The foundation has been set. The job now is taking the brand idea and bringing it to life for consumers through content, communications, brand programs and activations across the entire marketing mix, driving exponential growth for the business. We’re past start-up stage, this is about the accelerated growth stage of the business.

More specifically:

•  Developing channel-specific strategies and owning their implementation alongside the channel experts/partners – specifically social

•  Defining the programs and initiatives to deliver on those strategies and then leading the execution and implementation of each effort in-market 

•  Deliver on the creative/content needs of the business in partnership with each channel owner (performance, email, site, retail, partnerships, etc.)

•  Developing performance measurement frameworks for initiatives – what does success look like?

•  Helping define our approach to the voice of the consumer, which means constantly staying in touch with our consumers’ mindsets and needs. Defining and managing the right strategic insight stream for the business

•  Managing external content creation partners (creative agency, digital development, content production, etc.)

•  Owning (defining) our process (and tools) to ensure flawless execution

•  Supporting the relationships with our partners and advisors helping steward the brand

About You

•  5 - 7 years of proven brand building acumen that drives business results – as with everyone at the company, the success of the business is your success and vice versa

•  You might be an agency vet respected equally by your account, strategy and creative partners or a client-side pro who has helped originate and manage the strategic thinking and creative deliverables that drive your brand

•  A deep understanding of how brands are built across the modern communications landscape, with channel specific expertise in social and digital more broadly

•  A passion for building and engaging with communities across digital channels and understanding how to activate those communities on behalf of the business’ goals and objectives

•  A practitioner – you live for the making, creating, doing 

•  Know how to bridge between online and offline and understand the need for each tactic to drive sales while laddering up and being true to the brand mission, making every dollar spent work their hardest

•  Willingness to get involved at all levels of the business and own the process as much as the output

•  Believe in the power of teamwork. You lead with a “we” mindset and prides yourself on not letting the team down, while also managing and motivating a small internal team.

•  Can effectively manage external partners – PR, Advertising, Production Partners, High-level (Influencer) Talent, etc.
You have excellent time management and project management skills, are a resourceful, meticulous & highly-organized, and a creative problem solver that thrives working remotely, able to handle multiple projects, know where to prioritize, and comfortable enough to ask great questions to inform better and better work output
