About The Position
Essential Duties
  •  Assist in developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Track sales data, maintain promotional materials, manage trade shows, and maintain databases.
  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts, plans, and objectives.
  •  Plan and organizing promotional presentations and update calendars.
  • Schedule appointments for the sales department, service providers, suppliers, and customers.
  • Maintain and update supplier, sales, and customer records.
  • Ensure pricing is updated timely and accurately. 
  • Keep track of the sales team's communication with customers and follow up as needed.
  • Prepare monthly, weekly or daily sales analysis as instructed by the Sales Manager.
  • Sales order entry and management. Confirming orders have correct prices, discounts, delivery dates, and order minimums.
  •  Liaise between departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client’s needs, cost and time restraints.
  •  Assisting the sales team with sales presentations.
  • Maintain supplies of sales presentation materials, including slides and brochures.
  • Responsible for sample requests, including packing, shipping and tracking.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • Knowledge of marketing through social media and other methods of marketing.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Strong writing ability –interest in the food culture and sustainable food movement
  • Brand awareness - a clear understanding of brands and the food industry

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Reports To Sales Manager
