Job description:

The Regional Manager will be part of a dedicated and passionate team, focused on sales, brand management and Distributor Management as it pertains to sales execution. He or she will be responsible for delivering the execution of the area level plan by achieving the accounts sold and volume goals and profit targets while executing street level sales and marketing programs in conjunction with the distributor’s selling efforts. He or she will work closely with the executive team to advance vital brand projects by maintaining relationships with our distributor partners, top on premise accounts and key off-premise accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
50% focus on account management - 50% focus on distributor management
  • Account management (50%) in key areas
    • Build, maintain and enhance a key account list on and off premise in conjunction with the distributor and develop strong relationships with key buyers/owners and managers for the total brand portfolio
    • Manage assigned accounts in attaining their sales, marketing and profit objectives Manage own quantitative and qualitative data
    • Identify market trends and create opportunities
    • Collaborate with Brand Ambassador and National Accounts on current and new accounts
  • Distributor management (50%):
    • Proper wholesaler management of sales, merchandising, brand education and market work
    • Attend distributor meetings by providing well documented reports on the levels of distribution, display and sales by the distributor
    • Report on a weekly and monthly basis on the (new) accounts visited, achievements and expenses
    • Review monthly performance
    • Monitor inventory and proper use of P.O.S. material
  • Experienced industry professional with high end bar, restaurant and cocktail knowledge within one or more of these markets
  • A commercial sales talent with the ability to see opportunities
  • Extensive knowledge of the distributor(s) (MS Walker & United) within one or more of these markets
  • Strong current relationships with key accounts and key buyers within one or more of these markets
  • Able to work with budgets with full financial responsibility over these markets Strong communication skills both verbally and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online distributor reporting systems. Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong communication, presentation & follow up skills both verbally and written Travel required approx. 25%
  • Must have valid driver's license
