About The Position

Love Beets, a rapidly growing and innovative company in the natural foods and produce industry, is seeking a passionate, creative, and ambitious Assistant Brand Manager to join our Marketing team full-time.  The Assistant Brand Manager will report to and work directly with our Brand + Marketing Director and in close collaboration with the rest of the Marketing and Sales teams to assist in the following key areas:
  • Retail + Sales Support – assist in managing strategy, creative, logistics, communication and vendor management of POS needs; general sales assets/materials and sales presentation support.
  • Consumer Research/Engagement + Business Analysis – help to coordinate consumer research efforts and think outside the box when it comes to consumer engagement efforts.  Assist in analyzing sales trends, consumption, and feedback to help drive strategy and direction forward within the company. 
  • Brand and Packaging Design – work directly with design agencies and freelance designers to brainstorm and project manage new marketing/sales materials and minor label/packaging edits.
  • Content Creation – come up with forward-thinking ideas for creative content and communicate details effectively to the rest of the Marketing team and third-party people/agencies, sometimes managing the process from start to finish to deliver exceptional final products.
  • Event Assistance – occasionally help out when and where needed in the planning and execution of trade shows and consumer events; occasionally attend shows/events and be a friendly and outgoing representative of the company.
  • General Marketing Support – assist in development and execution of the annual marketing plans to increase sales, brand awareness, volumes, and profitability.

Job Requirements:
 
• Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing or Food Marketing degree preferred)
• 1-2 years consumer packaged goods or food industry experience
• Passionate about our brand, consumers, and healthy living!
• Eager to help out when and where needed and must have a curiosity to learn about the business/industry
• Experience working with market research data (i.e. IRI, Nielsen, etc.)
• Excited and inspired by the Love Beets look and feel and a good eye for aesthetics and design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Must be comfortable working in a productive environment as a hands-on team player who can also operate independently 
• Any Photoshop/Illustrator knowledge or experience is a plus
• Occasional travel for event support
