About The Position

Purpose:  The Search Engine Marketing Manager will conduct on-going optimization tactics to successfully manage all paid search and shopping campaigns within Google, Bing, and Gemini.  The SEM Manager will have ownership to meet revenue and acquisition goals by utilizing best practices and tactics.  This position will also oversee and manager our SEO vendor.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-going optimization tactics: keyword expansion, negative keyword development, keyword bid management, adcopy creation, sitelink management, landing page auditing, and additional related responsibilities
  • Account expansion by generating new campaigns/adgroups and research and analyze competitor tactics
  • Participate in the development of New Customer Acquisition strategies
  • Manage Paid Search campaign expenses by implementing budget pacing
  • Conduct on-going SEM research to utilize latest trends and tactics
Requirements and Qualifications

Skills:
  • Excel at analyzing Paid Search performance metrics and being able to optimize accordingly
  • Ability to develop new initiatives to maximize new customer acquisition
  • Excellent communicator, both verbal and written and ability to be a self-starter and deliver/test new initiatives
Knowledge:
  • Strong aptitude in third party tools – Google Analytics, DoubleClick, Marin, Kenshoo, Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Gemini
  • Expert in Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience:
  • BA or BS in Marketing or equivalent working experience; At least 2 to 5 years of Search Engine Marketing experience managing Large SEM Budget Accounts (At least 1M Yearly Spend)
  • High level optimization experience - keyword research, keyword expansion, negative keyword development, adcopy development, A/B Testing, and keyword bid management
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to adapt and adjust based on new initiatives, develop solutions when problems/issues arise and deliver against very tight deadlines
  • Experience with 3rd Party management tools, preferably DoubleClick, Kenshoo, or Marin
