About The Position

Candidate must have his/her own vehicle, this is a New York area position to include NYC and NJ.
Scope of Position:
  • Interfacing with distributor contacts includes; implementing work withs, attending sales meetings, developing key accounts, targeting top 100 accounts and merchandising Goslings products, as well as attending events, promotions and trade shows
  • Sales and merchandising of Goslings in all off-premise accounts
  • Direct communication with current on-premise market managers and interfacing throughout assigned accounts
  • Managing relationships with key targeted off premise accounts - establishing, maintaining and strengthening “Customer Focused” mindset
  • Increasing distribution in key off premise accounts
  • Interface with Goslings events
  • Merchandising shelf and positioning, floor displays and window signs in key off premise accounts
  • Establishing, monitoring and maintaining key account information and competitive category
  • Other duties as needed
  • Call on assigned key off premise accounts minimum of (4) days per week, monitoring Goslings programming effectiveness, strategic objectives and competitive retail pricing, floor display presence supported by effective retail inventory levels
  • Call on assigned key off premise retail accounts focused towards pricing, programming, retail ad features and floor displays
  • Target, communicate and monitor specific off premise key target accounts for knowledge and execution opportunities and program effectiveness
  • Develop, manage, implement and monitor Goslings off premise business to include competitive pricing, distribution, floor display’s and retail ad features 
  • Manage, train and motivate distributor interfaces utilizing effective 360 degree process of pre-planning objectives
  • Conduct sales pre-planning and implementation meetings with distributor interfaces as per distributor scheduled division meeting calendar opportunities
  • Conduct off-premise tastings
  • Other duties as needed
  • 3+ years experience sales in spirits or wine industry
  • Must be able to work in aforementioned states with distributors
  • Must be able to work on weekends
  • Strong negotiating, interpersonal and sales skills
  • Willing to travel minimum 75%, flexible work hours
  • Ability to be flexible in focus and position effectiveness, pressure situations and a passion for off-premise account management
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
