About The Position

This position will develop and manage marketing activities, including new product launches, strategic campaigns and key promotions. The Manager, Marketing is responsible for leading collaboration and communication with all departments and creating cohesive 360 campaigns. This position requires strategic planning, excellent organization and follow-up, effective oral and written communication, and a self-managed person who can multi-task and embrace the Beautycounter mission and values.

Product Marketing: 
  • Maintain pulse on innovations in the industry (retail and direct)
  • Perform market analysis to make strategic new product recommendations
  • Own creation of product briefs including positioning, story and benchmark identification
  • Develop ownable product positioning strategy for Skincare and Care categories
  • Partner with necessary departments to lead product development process
Create and manage marketing calendar for US & Canada
  • Develop launch plans for new product introductions in partnership with Senior Director, Marketing
  • Lead the creation of differentiated marketing strategies for Skincare and Care categories
  • Build 360 cross-channel campaigns to deliver business objectives, working across all cross functional departments
  • Own marketing email calendar and creation of consultant support materials for US & Canada
  • Collaborate with internal teams and share calendar regularly, communicating updates as needed
  • Plan website updates to align with calendar and brand objectives
  • Plan offers in partnership with Sales Team to support consultant and consumer initiatives that help achieve sales goals in both the US and Canada, including retail partnerships
  • Partner with Content Marketing on blog concepts to deliver consistent product and brand messaging
  • Partner with Social team to create assets for US & Canada that align with Marketing Calendar; communicate to Sales team
  • 5-7 years of experience in Marketing, preferably at a beauty brand
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Ability to manage across multiple teams, projects, and priorities efficiently and effectively
  • Passion for / active involvement in the digital and social landscape
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to express creativity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
