About The Position
Golden State Cider is seeking a North Bay Territory Sales Manager to join our growing team!

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for representing the GSC Brand and growing Golden State Cider sales within the assigned territory.  This position will also manage the activities of GSC’s distributor in the network to increase our distribution and sales within the assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities:
Activities of this position are to include but are not restricted to: 
  • Brand education and training of distributor sales team in assigned territory
  • Manage and energize the activities of distributor sales people within assigned territory
  • Challenge, organize and support distributor sales teams to achieve established sales goals by product and package type
  • Ensure the execution of GSC sales, marketing and display programs within the territory
  • Conduct retailer education and consumer demand creation events as requested
  • Increase GSC sales within assigned territory through direct selling efforts to key accounts and targeted chains
  • Know and use GSC tools and resources to effectively present our brand and grow sales
  • Sell the complete variety of GSC products and packages
  • Provide monthly sales analysis highlighting progress to monthly, quarterly and yearly goals
  • Provide weekly territory pulse reports to management team

Skills & Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the beverage industry
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Knowledge of cider making, GS ciders, and competitive market environment
  • Proficiency with personal computers/laptops and associated programs
  • Highly organized and able establish clear priorities
  • Honesty and resiliency are important along with responsibility for results 

Position Requirements:
Prior beverage industry experience or comparable experience in grocery/chain/specialty market sales is required. It is required for the position that you must have a reliable car that is registered and insured, a valid driver's license, ability to drive to and from accounts continuously, available to work nights and weekends, and at times more the 40 hours a week, able to lift up to 50 pounds and that you must currently reside in the assigned territory.

Sales Specific Offerings
As part of our onboarding process, all New Sales Representatives will have a full-immersion Golden State Cider learning/training experience which includes time on the farm in Sebastopol and at our Cidery. For Sales Representatives, Golden State pays for an annual AAA Plus Membership and also offers mileage and other job-related transportation expense reimbursements. In addition to their base-salary, our Sales Representatives participate in our unique Sales Incentive Program which works to maintain our culture of results-focused personal management. Our on-the-road crew is also extended a monthly allowance toward account visits and cider sampling.
