About The Position
GrowGeneration is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to manage company network infrastructure, Active Directory, and domain services for daily operations.
Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools. We have grown into a chain of twenty three (23) retail hydroponic/garden centers in 9 states, with five (5) located in Colorado, five (5) in California, three (3) in Maine, three (3) in Michigan, two (2) in Nevada, two (2) in Oklahoma, one (1) in Washington, one (1) in Rhode Island, and one (1) in New Hampshire.

Description:
GrowGeneration Corp. (GRWG) is seeking a Network Administrator to join our growing team. The primary responsibilities will include managing our network infrastructure, Active Directory, and domain services for daily operations. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have a clear understanding of LAN/WAN setup and design in a multi-location national environment. In addition, the Network Administrator will be tasked with managing communication devices across the WAN. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implementation of circuits and network equipment including switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Managing the WAN/LAN of 22 locations in addition to onboarding new locations
  • Managing a hosted Windows domain environment
  • Managing servers in a VMWare environment
  • Managing Active Directory domain services
  • Create, update and maintain domain policies
  • Maintain firewalls, VPNs, and web protocols
  • Configure and support Webhosting, external DNS, and registrar services
  • Maintain email services through Office365
  • Vendor management of ISP and managed network services
  • Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing network and engineer designs for improving or further leveraging these services.
  • Maintain IP phone services and hardware
  • Maintain camera services and systems
  • Troubleshooting hardware issues related to the ERP system
  • Additional responsibilities as defined by the CIO.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Network Administration
  • Advanced experience in WAN/LAN technologies
  • Advanced experience in firewall services and setup; Fortinet experience preferred
  • Advanced experience in routing, port security, TCP/IP protocols
  • Advanced experience in a VMWare environment
  • Advanced experience in Active Directory
  • Advanced experience in Office365
  • Strong troubleshooting analytic and diagnostic skillset
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects and issues
  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical personnel
  • Ability to analyze our existing system and provide process solutions
