About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, Security and Compliance, you own the Security Compliance area for the company.  Your main role is to take responsibility for the design and implementation of a comprehensive set of best practice compliance programs across the entire security landscape.  You will work with various IT and Functional areas as needed to proactively drive operational compliance on the estate with particular focus on the Security Policy. Tracking of remediation efforts in areas of non-compliance will be your responsibility. You will support the overall IT Security and Compliance team by working on special projects and activities as appropriate. You must have strong technical skills and will manage a set of  security compliance reviews.  

Bacardi’s Cloud strategy requires that you maintain an accurate inventory of Cloud based vendors and solutions.  It is critical to ensure that these 3rd parties maintain compliance with Bacardi’s IT Security Policy. You will own the audit and compliance activities for the Bacardi Security Team. You will design and own an appropriate Compliance Dashboard.  Finally,  you ensure documentation is up to date and that performance metrics meet stated targets. 

At this position, you will typically report to the Security Architect, IT Security and Compliance.  

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Acting as the lead Security Compliance resource you will manage and have ownership over the following areas; 
  • IT Risk Register maintenance
  • Key Cloud vendor governance and management
  • IT Security Awareness program
  • Incident/phishing simulations
  • Identity and access management governance
  • The user recertification process
  • SSO Integration Maintenance and Management
  • Privileged access management 
  • Incident response support
  • Compliance reporting 
  • Application factory security compliance
  • Audit compliance and Regulatory compliance including SOX
  • Management of the Vulnerability Assessment program
  • Support of Penetration Testing program
  • Ensure the audit and management of required operational security activities, processes and policies
  • Provide support to local and global IT teams with respect to security
  • Provide support for the update process for the IT Security Policy
  • Remediation identification and tracking
  • Compliance dashboards and reporting
Business and IT organization engagement 
Develop your specific network of contacts, internally and externally, and leverage it
Create strong and trusting relationships with your business and IT colleagues

Measures of Success
Measures – Execution of a comprehensive program of Security Compliance activities with appropriate reporting and metrics being provided.  Remediation requirements being identified and tracked.  Year on Year reductions of audit deficiencies.   
Critical experiences for success

To be successful in this role you will have/be: 
  • Knowledge of common security compliance processes and frameworks 
  • 3 years’ experience in a supporting role on an IT Security Team 
  • Extensive experience with audit related items and SOX requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Technical knowledge – able to learn new tools and technical concepts quickly, 
  • Ability to understand end-user security related priorities 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing security and business requirements
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot security problems during operation of solutions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision 
  • Proficiency in English 
The following experiences are recommended:
  • Experience in the Security function as well as Security Compliance activities 
  • Experience in a cross functional team environment
